Synposis:

 

We follow a body back to China, from a container found in a British port with 58 dead inside. They were poor would-be immigrants from Fujian province, clients of the infamous Snakehead gang.

 

Li Zhenquan was 25 when he left. His family paid $20,000 to send him to the UK and get him a job, but he was suffocated with his co-migrants; the truck-driver was convicted. Back in their village, Li’s wife and mother bury him and mourn, but also battle to get their money back from the Snakeheads. So many of Fujian’s successful families owe their fortune to a migrant son. Despite these tragic deaths, thousands still queue up and pay to try their luck.
